A home where heroes are made

House of the Heroes in the Philippines is a home where family enables the lives of abandoned children to become heroes. We’re about living life to the full and making a long term difference in the lives of abandoned children in Manila. The House of the Heroes envisions that abandoned and neglected children will be nurtured and raised to fulfil their God-given potentials. It aims to create more than just a shelter but a home where children will grow in a healthy family environment meeting their physical, social, emotional and spiritual well-being. It is a safe and secure home where heroes are made. HOTH was established in 2008 by the Johnson and Sanchez families as a small independent charity and it currently homes around 20 children.

Heroes Village

We want to give our kids a home of their own and so we are currently building 2 new houses which will replace the rented we are currently using. The project is well underway and once complete will house enough for 30 children. Located away from the city of Manila their new home will be a safe haven with open spaces, fresh air and plenty of green!
